What's In A Name?

"That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet" Romeo and Juliet

Will Shakespeare understood. Our name is a gift from our parents, whether we like it or not. Our nickname is a gift from those who love us, whether we like it or not. It is not our name that matters, but what individuality and character we allow to our name to project. I like my name, and I love my children's names. As a family we revel in this actuality; we signify our names by wearing our initials. Our favorites are from a novel company fittingly named, Waxing Poetic (waxingpoetic.net). Our favorites? The initial charms. They come in several different designs, each to reflect ones own personality. It gets more fun. You can create your own "charm" necklace or bracelet. Amulets and adornments, remedies and tonics, perpetuals and pendents; so many choices requiring a little time. Even so, time worth taking.
